Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations and Payments: Events - 50% of Venue Rental and a signed contract are required to reserve an event date. Remaining fees are due 30 days prior to the scheduled event. Wedding & Reception - Venue Rental 1st payment of $750 and a signed contract are required to reserve an Event date. The Balance of a 50% Venue Rental is due within 6 months prior to event date. Remaining fees are due 30 days prior to the scheduled event. A $350 refundable damage deposit is required 30 days prior to Event date. Refunds of damage deposit (less any applicable charges) are mailed via the USPS within 10 days of the date of the event.
Access, Setup, Start & End Times: Event Rental period is on an hourly basis. This includes set-up time by client/caterer. Wedding & Reception Rental period is for a 12 hour period unless otherwise specified. This includes set-up time by client/caterer. Rehearsals times will be scheduled 30 days before the date of event. Rehearsal time is available the day before or week of the wedding but must be scheduled so it will not interfere with any other event. For the rehearsal you will have use of the ceremony site for 1 hour between the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional time may be available if no other events are scheduled. This does not include dressing areas.
Decorating and Decorations: Our facilities have decorations in place that may not be removed. Client decorations and personal items are to be removed and all areas returned to their original condition at the end of your event. Furniture and accessories may not be moved without prior permission.
Vendors: The Barn does not require that Clients contract with any particular vendors for catering, cakes, floral, photography, entertainment or rental equipment, nor does it endorse any particular vendor over another. The Client is responsible for any damages or losses that occur as a result of any vendor or attendee action and is within his/her rights to seek outside redress to recoup any of these types of charges.
Smoking: Smoking is accommodated in designated smoking areas at the fire pit area or red bench behind the barn.
Alcohol: Beer, Wine & Champagne are permitted on premise. All responsibility and liability for serving Beer, Wine & Champagne is incurred by the Client. All state and federal laws concerning the serving and consumption must be strictly abided by. Wine & Champagne must be served by The Pour Guys. The client will need to make arrangements with Jerry Kruse from The Pour Guys 865-360-3733 for licensed bartending service. Wildwood Springs is in no way responsible or liable for any alcohol related incident. Wildwood Springs reserves the right to terminate the serving and consumption of alcohol at any time before, during or after the event.
Clean Up: Client is responsible for removing all décor items and equipment brought to the property, and disposing of all trash. All trash must be taken off site at end of event.
Cancellations: Wildwood Springs does not offer refunds. Our product is time and space. Once you have contracted with Wildwood Springs for your event, that time and space is no longer available to other potential customers. The venue rental must be paid in full. Should you need to reschedule your event we will work with you to find another available date within the following 12 months.
